It’s the next step in the evolution of our NC Clan Tournament

Tonight at 9pm EDT, Vlee will take on ThinMints in a best two out three set of matches to be the first ever NC clan tournament champion. I hope this first tournament has a been a fun little sideline activity in your overall Clash Royale experience. 1SickKnave did a masterful job setting up the bracket and keeping it updated. Now, we’d like your help to make the next tournament even better.

Our next tournament experiment will be a massive shift from the first one.

Time: Each round in this tournament was 3 days. This time, we’re going to do it ALL in one night!

Seeding: Last time, everyone in the clan was seeded into the bracket according to their trophy count at the beginning of the tournament. This time, only the people that show up on tournament night will be seeded into the bracket and they will be seeded by their max trophy count.

Tie-breakers: Last time, we used a combination of donation and trophy stats to determine who would move on when matches weren’t played. This time, “no shows” are out of the tournament. It’s all happening live.

If it works, Tournament Nights might become a regular thing. We may also continue to run long form tournaments like our first one.
