Balance Changes Coming 11/30

Supercell continues to play whack-a-mole with the meta. They undo a couple of previous balance changes and give the Mega Minion a pretty solid smack down!

These are the changes that will be live on Tuesday:

Mega Minion: Damage decreased by 6%, Hit Speed decreased to 1.4sec (from 1.3sec)
Elixir Collector: Production Speed increased to 8.5sec (from 9.8sec), Lifetime decreased to 70sec (from 80sec)
Poison: Damage increased by 10%
Tombstone: Spawn Speed decreased to 2.9sec (from 2.5sec)
Lava Hound: Lava Pup Hitpoints decreased by 1%

Balance Updates Coming 11/1

We have a small set of balance changes arriving on Tuesday

Ice Spirit: Freeze duration decreased to 1.5sec (from 2sec)
Ice Golem: Death Damage increased by 74%
Rage: Effect increased to 35% (from 30%)
Lumberjack: Rage effect increased to 35% (from 30%)
Inferno Tower: Hitpoints decreased by 6%

Supercell is taking trying to rein in Giant/Poison. Significant changes are also coming to the Elixir Collector, Log and Skeleton Army. Both golems are getting a minor fix.

NC Flood Relief

The Tar Heel state took a beating from Hurricane Matthew. Some rivers haven’t even crested yet so things could be getting worse before they get better. You have an opportunity to not only contribute money to the relief efforts but also to spend a weekend mudding out houses and tearing out sheet rock. SNEAK PEEK #2 – New Cards

The Mega Minion (3 elixir, Rare) will be available soon, then a new card will be released every two weeks.
Soon you’ll be able to see when your friends are online/offline, and spectate their battles. You will also be able to challenge your friends to a Friendly Battle from the friends list.

SNEAK PEEK #3 – Tournament Changes

In the new Challenge Modes, 12 wins unlocks the top prize, 3 losses and you’re out. Classic Challenge (10 Gems to enter, top prize of 2000 Gold and 100 cards), Grand Challenge (100 Gems to enter, top prize of 22000 Gold and 1100 cards)
The old tournaments are now called “Custom” Tournaments and they have reworked and simplified tournament creation, reducing both Gem prices and prizes.
Also, excess Crowns will overflow from one Crown Chest to the next, if you have one waiting.
